Confined space safety depends on everyone knowing — and sticking to — their role.

In a permit-required confined space, the roles of the entrant and attendant are clearly defined and critical to preventing serious incidents. These toolbox talks cover OSHA responsibilities for each role, continuous monitoring by the attendant, communication procedures, hazard recognition, and when to initiate rescue. Use them to train crews on what’s expected of each team member before, during, and after entry.
