Fire extinguishers save lives — but only when used correctly and confidently.

The PASS method is the industry standard for fast, effective response.

Why It Matters: In a fire emergency, hesitation or confusion wastes precious seconds. Practicing the PASS method means you’re ready when it counts.

Key Points:

• P – Pull the pin to break the tamper seal.
• A – Aim the nozzle low, at the base of the flames.
• S – Squeeze the handle slowly and evenly.
• S – Sweep side to side across the base of the fire.

✅ Remember: aim low and sweep steadily — never aim at the flames.
